More about me...
I am originally from Louisville, but have returned from living in Texas for 24 years. After a fair amount of soul-searching, I decided to follow my passion. I grew up with cats, 56 years experience in all (!). More recently I volunteer for the Alley Cat Advocates, a Trap/Neuter/Return organization here in Louisville. Some of my tasks there have included trapping, grooming, & handling all types, shapes & sizes of felines.
My first dog was a Blue Heeler named Jake. He was a handful of a foundling, & most decidedly not a starter-dog for a former cat-person. That was 18 years ago. I have intense experience in training & socializing dogs from my work with him. We actually got our Good Canine Certificate! I have also worked as a volunteer for the Richardson [TX] Humane Society as a handler responsible for the welfare of dogs at adoption events.
